Join The Ridge Reading Challenge

Every January, we kick off a church-wide challenge to read major parts of the Bible throughout the year, called the Ridge Reading Challenge. We are doing this because we want to make a commitment – as a church – to read the Bible every day. We believe if we all set a goal to do this and encourage one another – we can all grow in our faith, knowledge of who Jesus is and how God wants to work in our lives.

Are you a mom of a kindergartener or younger? Do you wish you knew other moms who you could hang out with, talk to, and share hand-me-downs? Do you have a secret desire to watch Bluey with someone over the age of 3? If so, Ridge Moms is for you!

On Tuesday, September 2, at 9:00am, we'll have our first Ridge Moms meeting of the season. Each month on the first Tuesday we'll have breakfast, interesting speakers, adult conversation, hot coffee, and childcare. Sounds like fun, right? You can sign up now right here.

On Sunday, April 12, during our 11am service, we'll be meeting in the conference room (next to the women's restroom) to discuss small groups, serving opportunities, and getting connected at The Ridge. You'll have a chance to sit with leaders, chat, ask questions, and see what your next step might be.

Our Student Ministry is planning a missions trip to Logan, West Virginia, July 19-24 this summer. This trip is for incoming 9th grade students through graduating 12th grade students and their Ridge mentors. Our group will serve the diverse community of Logan in a variety of ways, including working with children and a variety of service projects. We are working with YouthWorks, who partners with a number of organizations to come alongside those experiencing homelessness, local children, and the elderly. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2002. Check out more about this trip here.

Total cost is $350 through the end of March, then $450 through the end of April. From May on, the price goes up to $550, so sign up soon to get the best price. Use this form to register. A $50 deposit is required at time of registration, which can be paid through the same registration form.

Ways you can pray for this trip:
Pray for our students and mentors leading up to and during the trip.
Pray for those in West Virginia who will be impacted by how God works in their community.
Pray for the staff and volunteers at YouthWorks as they lead this group and other student ministry missions trips.
Pray for our team as the travel to West Virginia on July 19th, and as they return on the 24th.

You may have heard that @ridge24.7 is starting a new Thursday evening service. We will continue to offer Ridge Recovery on Thursdays, but it will look a little different. We'll begin at 6:00pm in the conference room, break at 6:50 for coffee/social time, and then transition to the auditorium to attend the service together.
