Beginning Sunday, August 15 masks are required for children age 3 and up in our Sunday morning children's programs. To best care for those children, masks are also required for children's ministry volunteers who work directly with kids. Masks are recommended for other volunteers and people attending The Ridge. Check out the full update here, and check out some FAQ's below:
After speaking with local health officials, school officials, etc., and in line with the current CDC recommendations, it is recommended that masks be worn by all, regardless of vaccination status.
This new mask requirement is for any children ages 3 and up who attends Little Ridge Kids (age 3 - preK), Ridge Kids (Kindergarten - 4th grade), and ridge56 (5th & 6th grade), as well as any students or adults volunteering in those areas.
The CDC is currently recommending masks for all ages, regardless of vaccination status. Therefore, masks are recommended for students and volunteers attending our Sunday evening student ministries when indoors. We will continue to make efforts to stay socially distanced.
The same guidelines apply on Sunday mornings as for groups that meet at The Ridge - masks are recommended (per CDC guidelines/local recommendations) for all ages. Masks are required for children and volunteers, ages 3 and up, in any childcare spaces.
- Hand sanitizer will be available in the atrium, and restrooms will have handwashing instructions.
- All contact surfaces will be sanitized before and after the services (and will receive an industrial-grade sanitization between each Sunday).
- Masks will be available in the atrium entrance, and at kids' check-in areas if you forget a mask for kids.
Absolutely! We’ll stream both services online at 9:30 and 11am. Both services will stream on our Facebook page and on our website. We encourage those who are more comfortable attending online at this time to do so.
